By the end of June, it was starting to get hot. I had to replace the original simple fountain because I never could plug the leak in the container. I created a 3-tier effect with multiple pots and a small decorative birdbath that was quite pleasing all Summer. Unfortunately, when I started taking it apart in November to store for the Winter, the top pot and the birdbath shattered. They weren't really intended for the outside, but they lasted well through the hot months, so I guess I got my money's worth. So I've already started looking at ideas for next year. I may build a larger waterfall type of feature in that whole corner, or I may just buy a ready-made fountain or pool. I'm not sure which, yet.
