Making a House Into a Home ... |
Fortunately, the house was in move-in condition. We didn't have to paint so much as a wall. We did a lot of outside work with plants and landscaping the first summer (2002), and I've just started (January/Februray 2003) working on some of the things we want to change inside. I'll add before and after pictures of the projects as they are completed. |

Our house was built in 1927; hardwood floors throughout. It has 3 bedrooms (1 downstairs which we turned into an office/music room, 2 upstairs), 1 bath (upstairs), unfinished basement, 2-1/2 car garage, privacy fence surrounds back yard, new roof on house. All kitchen appliances were included, plus washer and dryer in the basement.
